I just enrolled my 12 yr old daughter in K12 Virtual Academy. She needs a laptop (required), and my husband and I are between residencies right now, living with a friend, and can't afford one. Is there help for me? Is there a way to get a free laptop?

Irene, I would suggest making some inquiries as you may be eligible for a number of things depending on your income and other factors. Check with K12, the school district you're in or your local social services. You may find a laptop cheap on Craig's List, a re-sale store or a friend getting rid of one. Hope this helps!
