Book by writer/lecturer Peter Iliyn who shares an accurate, historically rich account of adventure, forgiveness and gratitude.
He writes of his father’s journey from Russia to China as a young boy during WWII and the experiences growing up in a desperate environment. The book is inspiring and informative causing me to reflect upon personal choices we all have to make in times of trial.
Very attainable for middle readers and up, I have a 64 year old friend who was inspired by it and another friend who enjoyed it as a family read for multi-aged group.
Includes forward by Joni Eareckson Tada. I highly recommend it!
