Ivy League

If I homeschool my son who is now in the 8th grade, will he be able to attend an Ivy League college? My son is having a lot of problems at school. He is now in an alternative school,it is even worse. He is either bullying or being bullied. I don't want to end up in YDC or worse so I am considering home schooling. I just don't know anything about it.

Many colleges take homeschool graduates with open arms, including the Ivy League colleges. You might find this article interesting. Here is just one sentence from the article...In some circles homeschooling is even attaining a reputation as a secret weapon for Ivy League admission.

Check with the laws of Georgia at www.hslda.org. Our homeschool high school page will help get you off to a great start. Once he gets into high school, keep good records via a homeschool transcript.

Before doing anything else, get a copy of The Teenage Liberation Handbook from the library and read it together. You'll be glad you did.
