D.R.I.V.E. 2009 Kick Off Social
D.R.I.V.E. is a Christian Home School group for Teens. We all know that the social aspect of homeschooling is one of the most important. D.R.I.V.E. has given my daughter an opportunity to socialize with teens in our area who are like minded. They believe in God and the values they've been raised with. They are the most respectful group of kids that age I've dealt with in a long time!
D.R.I.V.E. stand for - dedication, responsibility, initiative, vision, enthusiasm. They meet twice a month on Friday afternoons. Their first meeting is a social event of some kind. Their second meeting is a community service project. They have worked at the local food bank, helped at a Christmas party at a local nursing home and even cleaned up an open space trail up in the mountains.
I cannot speak highly enough about this group. They are wonderful kids being lead by Rosanna Tussey, a woman with a heart for God and kids.

What a great idea! Sure sounds like DRIVE is making a difference in your community, it's a Win/Win! And something that any homeschool group could easily form. Thank you so much for sharing...great looking group of kids, too! (Maybe I can get Annette to start one in our area!)
