Around the World in 80 Days is a great adventure story because the main character, Phileas Fogg, is very particular in his habits and behaviors. He and his servant, Passepartout, take a bet to go around the world in 80 days.
The two of them get into a lot of trouble as they travel, which they always seem to get out of. I also like that they visit different countries and take different modes of transportation to get there.
I like adventure and survival stories, this book is quickly becoming my favorite.

I read this book about 6 months ago! We happen to have a version of the book with notes/pictures in the margins. It helped to define words that I would not have otherwise known, like "fob". (It's a small pocket in the waistband of men's pants, designed to hold a pocket-watch.)
