Annette went to Homecoming!
Annette was asked to attend homecoming by her friend, Keelya. We had a grand time shopping for her outfit, right down to the shoes. We fixed her hair and off she went. She fit right in and had a blast. It's funny how many seem to think that we are not socialized, but Annette proved it wrong that night! Even though she does not attend the public school nor has many public school friends, she enjoyed going, meeting everyone and they all got along great!

Although they are spelled differently and have different meanings, many words sound exactly like other words. Him and hymn are an example. 2) Homeschool Tip

Take the Brain Teaser one step further and make a "Pear Tree of Pairs" on one of your spare walls. We made paper pears and wrote homophones (homonyms) on them. It was fun trying to think of more pairs, oftentimes coming up in conversation prompting us to write them down before we forgot them!
